A Child with a Few Illusions Left
I was talking about the child I was before the worst things happened.
Dr. W. encouraged me to connect with her. So I have been looking
at old photos.
There were many taboo subjects when I was young. Most of those taboos
persist today. Outright lies were the norm, as well. Who broke the
lamp? Let the dog loose? Ate the leftovers? Went joyriding in the
car? These were questions asked and lied about. Who beat up Mother?
Raped Jane? Or gambled the rent on a horse? These were questions
that weren't open to discussion. The truth becomes fluid. Each of
us carries our own portion of a puzzle to huge to assemble.
Dream:
It would be easier to find a pimple on a snakes butt than it
would be to discover the truth.
