Ever After

The endless quality of fear and dread traveling down through time is reflected in this image. I am determined to quit running and face my fears.

There has been a breach in my defenses leading to a change in the status quo. Although my first reaction was to hide, I knew I was going to have to come up with a new approach to life. It was good for me to tell my story to the offenders. The experience has allowed me to let go of something; I am not sure what, perhaps helplessness. I am glad to leave behind the shell that protected me from hurt and from meaningful contact.


Dream:

I lived in a transparent tube with others. We were safe from the enemy because our tube was impervious. I saw some men outside getting close to our tube. One got in a bulldozer and came at us really fast. I laughed because I knew that our shell was made out of a magic material. He came right through the wall. I was electrified with fright! I broke into the opposite wall to hide in the ductwork. But I knew our safety was gone. The wall had protected me all my life and now it had been breached.
